“Transform Uganda III” Preparations
Mike Parker, CTM Board Member
March 6, 2017 ….
in January a small team ventured out to Uganda from the U.S.: Dan Noel (CTM Board Chair – U.S.), his son Matthew, Matth’s best friend Adam, Martha and Bill Wagner, and Evangelist Mike Parker (Director of Strategic Initiatives – ETeam Global..
The purpose of the trip was to:
- Encourage the 16 new church plants
- See potential new church plant locations
- Hold a conference for 150 women from the rural bush church plants (mostly new Christians), and
- Discern and plan TU 3. In addition, Mike, Bill and Dan meet w the Ugandan CTM board and staff.
It was a tremendous week. One church plant in a Muslim village has grown to 250 active worshippers of Jesus every week in less than two years! Martha taught alongside a CTM staff member, Alan Ntwiga, in a break out session how to make clay cooking pots using only local available materials for no cost thus cutting down deforestation, lung disease due to smoke inhalation, and burns on infants and children because of open fire pits.
The week ended w another Older Muslim man in his late 50’s giving his life to Jesus – at his request to know Him. PTL!
